In a world where humans are at the bottom of the food chain and the so-called “livestock” are the “advanced biological animals,” human cannibalism is common. Myles, a middle-aged man, struggles to survive every day. One day, a noble goat Yang stops by the chaotic human society and offers to save Myles. The goat takes the man to restaurants at their elite community, and Myles exclaims how grateful he is to have escaped the “inhumane” place he’s from and how suitable he is for an ordered society like the goats’.
However, when the status quo cannot fulfill the man’s desires anymore, he asks the goat to take him to even more aristocratic societies. In return, Myles must satisfy the goat’s increasing demands of offering different parts of his own body, such as his arms, legs, and eyeballs. In the end, the man climbs to the most upper-class restaurant with only his heart, which is served as a dessert for the plants and algae -- the deity. The waiter squeezes blood out of Myles’ heart to water the plants and then tosses the dry heart out of the window, which literally drops down the ladder and lands on the graveyard in the chaotic human society where Myles is from.
